Our XL rattan lamps are real eye-catchers in any interior.
They are handmade in Bali, often based on our own designs, making each lamp unique. The natural materials, such as rattan, bamboo, and bamboo, also add a natural look to your home. What kind of room will the lamp be placed in? Indoors, or outdoors under a canopy or covered patio? Consider the size and shape of the lamp. A smaller lamp is usually more suitable for a bedroom, while in a dining room, above the dining table, there's often plenty of room for a large, extra-large rattan pendant lamp. If you have a white or natural interior, a natural rattan pendant lamp will look stunning. If you also have darker tones in your home, a black rattan lamp will look great. You can also choose a contrasting color to make your rattan pendant lamp stand out. Or how about hanging different models together in a cluster? Our included fittings/pendants make adjusting the lamp easy. Our pendant lamps are suitable for (dimmable or smart) LED or energy-saving bulbs.

Tips for buying a rattan pendant lamp

  • Rattan pendant lamps provide a beautiful diffused light, which creates much more atmosphere than with direct/indirect lighting from a regular lampshade
  • Hang different types of rattan lamps in a single cluster for a unique ambiance! We offer special pendants for this purpose; please ask for them when ordering.
  • A rattan lamp hangs approximately 70cm above the table top, and preferably not directly against the ceiling
  • Pay attention to the ceiling height! In the Netherlands, many ceilings are relatively low. We offer several low rattan pendant lamp models to solve this problem.
  • If you hang a rattan lamp outside, spray it once or twice with a clear varnish to keep the rattan looking nice.
